Are Snagging Companies worth it?
We highly recommend new home owners book a snagging survey post completion. Our survey will identify any issues with your new home, comprehensively listed in our visual reports making problems easy to identify and fix by your developer. This ensures financial responsibility for fixing defects present at completion lies with the developer, not the home owner.

How much does a snagging report cost?
A snagging survey can cost between around £300.00 to £600.00 depending on the size of the property. We pride ourselves on our competitive pricing and our high quality in- depth visual reports
Should snagging be done before or after completion?
New home buyers have recently been allowed the option of pre-completion snagging to be carried out via the recommendations of the newly established NHQB (New Home Quality Board). However these pre-completion surveys are very tightly controlled with only specific items allowed to be checked. And let’s not forgot that the NHQB’s biggest customers are the developers, it’s costs the larger developers ten of thousands of pounds a year to be a member of the NHQB….
One such example of surveyors hands being tied by the pre completion checklist is is the roof can only be inspected from ground level. If you opt for a post completion snagging survey we are able to fly a drone over your property to enable thorough checks of any roofs, ridges, tiles, guttering and leadwork.
So, we would strongly recommend any potential clients utilise a more comprehensive post completion survey.
